Let’s explore what the Enriched Air Diver Course is, its benefits, and why choosing a reputable diving center like Diving Around in Hurghada can take your diving journey to new heights.
What is Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diving?
Enriched Air, often referred to as Nitrox, is a gas mixture with a higher oxygen content than the standard air we breathe. While regular air contains approximately 21% oxygen, Nitrox can have oxygen concentrations of up to 40% or more. The Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Course teaches divers how to plan and execute dives using this gas blend, allowing for longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals.
